MMZ is a microcontrolled digital controller designed for solar heating applications, acting on controlling water circulation through the temperature differential between the solar collectors and the thermal reservoir. It allows to automate the heating of pools and boilers, acting with two sensors and having antifreeze and overheating functions.

How it works:

With the measure of temperatures measured (temperature of solar collectors and pool) reaching an equal or greater value to the programmed parameter, the pump is turned on. Then, the circulation of the water is started, the solar collector's hot water descends to the pool and the cold water rises from the pool to the solar collector, so that the difference in temperature tends to decrease. Upon reaching the scheduled value (desired temperature), the pump is turned off, ceasing the circulation of water in the heating system.

The controller employs a custom lcd display with touchscreen keys where the water temperature and output state are displayed. The instrument has two NTC temperature sensor inputs, and a control output for circulation pump drive.

The temperature controller allows automatic control of pool heating, acting with two sensors, one on the pool heating solar plate and another in the pool water near the machine house, which measures such differentials and also has anti -unlawling functions and overheating of solar plates.

It has output with high current capacity and can directly drive a 1HP engine. Suitable for use in solar heating systems, solar panel pumps and pool heating.
